Volunteer as a dance partner to older adults in an Adapted Tango class, January 21 - April 24 at La Vida Llena Life Plan Community, 10501 Lagrima De Oro Rd NE in Albuquerque. Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm. Volunteers will attend a two-hour fall prevention training workshop and will be asked to commit to attending 15-20 classes. Adapted Tango is a technique for teaching Argentine tango, modified to address the needs of older adults and adults with Parkinson’s.
