TCA Events in Albuquerque

Weekly

Tuesday Night Milonga, 8:00-10:30pm. $3 members; $5 guests. Free to first-time attendees.

TCA’s Pre-Milonga Guided Practica, Tuesdays, 7:30-8:00pm. Arrive a half-hour before TCA's weekly milonga begins to practice (or receive an introduction to) Argentine Tango with friendly experienced dancers. Included in Tuesday Night Milonga admission.

Saturday Afternoon Practica, 2:30-4:30pm. $2 everyone. Free to first-time attendees.

Please no street shoes or shoes that leave marks on the Lloyd Shaw Dance dance floor, per venue manager's request/signage.

Bi-monthly

First & third Sunday of each month*: TCA Milonga at Kellys Brew Pub, 7:30-10:30pm, 3222 Central Ave SE, in the Nob Hill business district. No cover. Please support our hosts & tip generously. Kellys website

Second & fourth Sunday of each month*: TCA Old Town Gazebo Milonga, "Tango por la Tarde," 6:30-9:30pm. Free event. Bring your own water, if desired. *Late Spring through early Fall; may be adjusted for Kellys, workshop & holiday schedules. Check latest news to confirm dates.

Old Town is in the NW quadrant of Albuquerque. & is bordered by Rio Grande Blvd on the west, Mountain Rd on the north, Central Ave. on the south. From Santa Fe/North: I-25 south to I-40 west; exit Rio Grande Blvd; south on Rio Grande (stay in your left lane) to Mountain Rd. Veer left onto Romero St. Parking is usually available around the Plaza; see map for additional parking areas.
