ONGOING TCA EVENTS AT Lloyd Shaw Dance Center

Lloyd Shaw Dance Center [Map], 5506 Coal SE (not the one-way Coal), Albuquerque, New Mexico. Located two blocks south of Central; 2nd block east of San Mateo, between Central & Zuni. Please no street shoes or shoes that leave marks on the dance floor, per venue manager's request/signage.

TCA's Tuesday Night Milonga, 8:00-10:30pm. 7/22 DJ: Garth Bawden. $3 members; $5 guests. FREE for first-time attendees. Refreshments served. Upcoming 7/29 DJs: Sam & Risa.

TCA Old Town Gazebo Milonga, "Tango por la Tarde,” Sunday, July 27, 6:30-9:30pm. 7/27 DJ: Michelle McRuiz. Free outdoor event. Usually 2nd and 4th Sundays. Next dates: 8/10 & 8/24.

Old Town is in the NW quadrant of Albuquerque. & is bordered by Rio Grande Blvd on the west, Mountain Rd on the north, Central Ave. on the south. From Santa Fe/North: I-25 south to I-40 west; exit Rio Grande Blvd; south on Rio Grande (stay in your left lane) to Mountain Rd. Veer left onto Romero St. Parking is usually available around the Plaza or surrounding streets.

Trade your volunteer time for one full TCA-sponsored Tango workshop by bringing refreshments for TCA Tuesday Nights Milongas.  (You are reimbursed each evening for the cost of the food.)
